"I’ve had the privilege to attend winterblast for the passed two years, and both times I was impacted by the opportunity to connect with athletes from different schools who share my love for Christ. We got to hear powerful messages, as well as dive deeper into the word with our huddles. I made true friends in these small groups with girls I had never met before, and it gave us the opportunity to be vulnerable. Last but not least, winterblast is an awesome place to have FUN while pursuing Jesus!!"

"Winter blast was a great way to start off the new year and a new semester by going to the mountains for a weekend with other believers. I met a lot a great guys in my huddle and we had very vulnerable conversations throughout the weekend that no doubt helped everyone in their faith walks. I learned valuable lessons to take back and apply on my own campus and made connections with people on my own campus’ fca that I hadn’t met before. Could not think of a better way for a student athlete to kickoff their year."

Through my experiences as a camper and huddle leader, it was great to have a weekend to pursue the Lord and connect with other students across North and South Carolina. I remember going to the Winter blast as a freshmen. I had been to FCA camps my whole life, but I was nervous that now since I was in college things would be different. I knew from the moment we had our first chapel that it was the same on fire, excited, Holy Ghost filled atmosphere that I’d aways known in FCA camps in the past. My sophomore year when the location changed I was able to focus on getting to build relationships with other Christ- centered young people. Every year I have been able to see God in a different way. Sadly we couldn’t go last year due to Covid, but I will always thank God for the Winter Blast, what He’s taught me about myself, others, and His own heart.
